Understanding how we use cookies to improve your experience.
This Cookies Policy explains how Pharmacy Space (ABN 32 694 035 919) ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Platform at pharmacyspace.com.au. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. We also use browser localStorage — a similar client-side storage mechanism. These technologies enable us to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand how the Platform is used.
These cookies are essential for the Platform to function. They are set by our authentication provider, Supabase, and maintain your secure login session. Without them, you cannot log in or access any protected features of the Platform.
sb-[project-ref]-auth-token — stores your encrypted session token
sb-[project-ref]-auth-token-code-verifier — used during the secure authentication flow
These cookies cannot be disabled without preventing you from logging in. They do not track you across third-party websites.
We use our own first-party telemetry system to count page views and understand session activity. This system stores two values in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie, but functionally similar):
ps_session_id — a randomly generated, anonymous session identifier (expires after 30 minutes of inactivity)
ps_session_last_active — a timestamp of your most recent activity in the session
This data is transmitted to our servers (hosted on Supabase) and used exclusively for internal platform analytics — such as total page views, daily visitor counts, and geographic distribution — visible only to Pharmacy Space administrators. This data is not shared with any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking platform.
If you switch between light and dark mode, your preference is saved in browser localStorage to persist across visits. No personal information is associated with this value.
Pharmacy Space does not use any of the following:
Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager
Meta (Facebook) Pixel or any social media trackers
Advertising, retargeting, or behavioural tracking networks
Third-party session recording, heatmapping, or A/B testing tools
External links on the Platform may lead to third-party websites that set their own cookies independently. We are not responsible for those cookies or tracking technologies.
The Platform uses Geist Sans and Geist Mono fonts, served via the Next.js Google Fonts integration. Font files may be loaded from Google's servers. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy if you have concerns about Google's data collection in connection with font delivery.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most modern browsers allow you to:
View, block, or delete cookies for specific websites;
Set preferences for all future cookie use;
Browse in private/incognito mode to avoid persistent cookie storage.
To clear localStorage data specifically, use your browser's developer tools (Application tab > Local Storage) or clear your browser's site data via Settings.
Impact of disabling:
Disabling authentication cookies will prevent you from logging in to the Platform;
Clearing ps_session_id will simply start a new anonymous session on your next visit — no personal data is lost.
Our use of cookies and localStorage is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We do not engage in behavioural advertising or share tracking data with third parties. Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis that they are essential for delivering the service you have requested. Functional localStorage values are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving Platform usage.
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our technology or legal obligations. Material changes will be notified via the Platform or by email.
If you have questions about our use of cookies or localStorage, please contact us via the Contact page on the Platform.
